Yes. Note-making is one of the main purposes of YourWorld. You can make personal notes, meeting notes, classroom notes, client notes, story notes, visual notes, and AI-assisted drafts, then keep them private or share exact pages by code.
Can my notes work like docs, slideshows, or PDFs?
Yes. YourWorld notes can become docs-like pages, selected-page shares, browser slideshow views, and PDF-ready story pages. That means a note can start as a private draft and later become a shareable document, lightweight presentation, or downloadable handoff.
Is Private Vault only for Pro?
No. Private Vault is best understood as a signed-in saved workspace for private notes, files, code, and drafts. Pro expands the full-power limits and premium features, but the vault concept itself is about saved private work, not public sharing.
How does private code sharing work?
Create content, generate a code, and send that code only to selected people. The code opens the shared content page without forcing the viewer through account creation.
Do I need an account to use YourWorld?
No. You can create, share, and view core shared content without creating an account. The note is tied to the code and session flow, not to a public profile.
Can I share notes without login?
Yes. You can write a note, generate a private code, and send it without creating a full account first.
Can viewers access content without account creation?
Yes. Anyone with the valid private access code can open the shared content without signing in.
When is login required?
Login is used for account-backed features such as saved account access, Aura AI assistance, AI image generation, and other signed-in tools.
Why are AI features gated behind login?
AI features cost real compute and can be abused. Login helps protect those resources while keeping basic sharing fast and low-friction.
Is YourWorld anonymous?
YourWorld can be used without creating a public profile for core sharing. There is no public "created by" label unless you put identifying information into the content yourself.
Can I collaborate using share codes?
Yes. You can share editable canvases by exchanging access codes with people you trust. You can share the full canvas or only selected pages.
Can I share multiple pages?
Yes. YourWorld supports full-canvas sharing and selected-page sharing, so one code can open a whole story or only the chosen pages.
Can I turn a story into a slideshow?
Yes. Story pages and public shared story views include a browser slideshow mode for focused reading or presentation-style viewing.
Can I download a story as a PDF?
Yes. YourWorld can prepare story pages for PDF download through the browser print flow, including titles, rich text, and illustrations.
Can I share PDFs, Docs, and PowerPoint files?
Yes. Pro Quick Share supports private handoffs up to 100MB per upload for PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, presentation files, images, audio, video, archives, and code files, with smart previews and 30-day expiry. Guest/free sharing remains available for 10MB quick handoffs.
What can Smart Preview open?
Smart Preview can open common private handoffs including images, PDFs, Office documents, spreadsheets, presentations, audio, video, text, code, markdown, CSV, JSON, and XML. Office previews can use Microsoft Viewer support when the file URL can be opened by the viewer.
Can I upload custom songs for each theme?
Yes. Signed-in users can upload custom songs into per-theme audio libraries, select the active track, delete songs, and reset themes to the default ambient sound. Free accounts have smaller limits, while Pro supports up to 5 songs per theme.

What are the file upload limits?
Pro users can upload Quick Share files up to 100MB per file and keep private file links active for up to 30 days. Guest and free users can still upload up to 10MB per file with 48-hour expiry for quick handoffs.
What does YourWorld Pro unlock?
Pro is the full-power YourWorld experience: 100MB Quick Share uploads, 30-day file expiry, 2,000 monthly Aura AI chats, 30 monthly AI image generations, premium themes, up to 5 custom songs per theme, smart previews, slideshow/PDF workflows, and founder price protection when available.
Is shared content indexed by search engines?
Shared content pages are marked noindex and excluded from the public sitemap. Google and Bing are instructed not to index shared views, and YourWorld does not publish a directory of private shared pages.
Can I revoke share codes anytime?
Yes. You can remove or replace share codes for your content at any time to stop future access through that code. But remember: if someone already copied your text while they had access, the code cannot un-copy it. Share with people you trust.
Does YourWorld support AI image generation?
Yes. AI image generation is available for signed-in users who want to visualize characters, scenes, and story moments.
What is Aura assistant?
Aura is the AI writing assistant inside YourWorld. It can help with ideas, rewriting, scene direction, and creative momentum while you stay inside the editor.
Is YourWorld mobile friendly?
Yes. YourWorld is designed for mobile and desktop so a code can be opened from a phone, laptop, or tablet.
How does Quick Share work?
Upload a file, get a private link, preview it, and share it. Pro raises the upload limit to 100MB per file and extends expiry to 30 days. Guest and free Quick Share remain available for 10MB files with 48-hour expiry.
