Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 5, 2026
We built this because we were tired of signing up just to share a grocery list.
YourWorld is a code-based content sharing platform. Users can create content and share selected pages, stories, or files with people who have the relevant code or link.
What data we store
We store the content you create, including diary pages, story pages, titles, optional image prompts, optional uploaded media links, theme settings, generated share codes, and basic metadata such as creation and update timestamps.
Where data is stored
Content and optional metadata are stored in the application database and cloud storage services used by YourWorld. Local browser storage may also be used for preferences such as theme or audio settings, especially for guest use.
Code-based access
When you generate a share code, that code becomes the access key for the selected content. Anyone with the code can open the shared content, so treat codes like private links and share them only with people you trust.
Personal data
Core sharing does not require an account. If you sign in, we may store your email, display name, profile picture, and login metadata so you can manage saved content and use signed-in features.
No sale of user data
We do not sell user data. We do not sell your content, share codes, email address, or profile data to advertisers or data brokers.
What we do not ask for
YourWorld does not ask visitors opening shared content for banking information, government ID numbers, card details, or unrelated passwords.
Your control
You control what you create and what you share. You can remove or replace share codes for your own content from the sharing controls. If someone copied content while they had access, removing the code cannot remove that copy from their device.
